One of the most exciting advantages about building a new home vs. buying an existing one is the fact that you can design it to fit your lifestyle. When you buy an existing home, you are buying someone else’s taste that may not necessarily have everything you want or need in a home.

Sometimes it is very difficult to know how to start when designing your home. We have a number of stock plans available that you can look through that are stylish and functional. All of them may be changed of modified to suit the needs of your family.

Or, if you want to start from scratch and design your own original creation, we can help with that too. Several of our clients have come to us with an idea in their head or a rough sketch on a napkin or piece of scrap paper and we’ve turned their ideas into a beautiful home.

We at Holm Developments Inc. do not believe in the one size fits all approach. We do not believe in “cookie cutter” houses where clients only have a choice of a few different home plans or a few different paint colours. We believe your home should be as unique and individual as you are. Throughout the whole process, we will be consulting with you to find out what your tastes are – you are the designer and we will assist you as much or as little as you like in making the choices on your home’s colours, styles and finishes.
